may our regular and enjoyable yoga practice help in bringing us all these blessings by making us realize that the new and the old, the beginnings and the ends, the inhale and the exhale are inseparable - mere expressions and perceptions of the same: the oneness, completeness and miraculousness of life.
one of the people i resonate with in terms of both yoga practice and life in general is my friend brandi mackenzie. i met brandi last year when she was living in pardubice, CZ, with her husband aaron who played hockey there.
currently living in linz, austria, b has studied with many yoga teachers but her main teacher is tias little. brandi's teaching is full of purpose, clarity, compassion, smoothness, natural movement and great therapeutic effect. like myself, brandi is a strong believer in the healing power of the yoga practice on all levels - be it physical, mental, energetic or spiritual. some of you may know b from her december workhop in prague or our yoga retreats in kasperk and egypt.
i'm very happy to be able to co-teach a yoga retreat with brandi (11 - 13 feb 2011) in our beloved kasperk, in the heart of the beautiful sumava mountains. you can join us for four alignment-based classes focusing on unwinding the spine, liberating the hips and shoulders, releasing the tension from our bodies and minds and balancing out our energy. though the focus of the yoga sessions will be therapeutic the classes will also challenge you without harming you at the same time :) plus you'll be able to enjoy swimming in a lovely swimming pool, go skiing, hiking, exploring or just rest and hang out with like-minded souls.
