it has always been my intention to help building community classes for people for whom access to yoga is neither easy nor obvious.
i'm very very happy that the "yoga scene" in prague has been evolving so vibrantly in the past few years, with lots of studios, workshops and more domestic and international teachers spreading the message of yoga now.
and i'm even happier to see yoga becoming more common and accessible in other places of the country as well. to name just a few, several years back, my dear friends kamila and martin set up their own yoga studio in ostrava. and soon, another lovely friend of mine, katka cajankova, will be opening her yoga space in zlin. plus there are many more studios, classes and retreat centres getting established across CZ. kudoz and good luck to them all!
the sweet and precious lenka nezvalova and myself have decided to support a wonderful project bringing yoga to local communities outside prague and will start teaching new yoga courses in a new YARD RESORT in predboj near prague.
only a 20-minute drive from prague, the place offers an irresistable blend of charm, serenity and organic feel.
i'll be teaching my slow flow classes there on tuesdays from 9 to 10.30 am and from 10.45 am to 12.15 pm. for more info about the courses (in czech) please check the yard resort website or see the flyer. the courses will start on 5 october and finish in mid-december. the courses will run parallel with yoga for kids with the truly amazing petra spindlerova adored by all children that get to know her :) an ideal set up: bring your kid to a yoga class and treat yourself to a 90-minute session of moving, breathing and relaxation as well.
we're also preparing some workshops at the yard resor in the coming months - will let you know about them shortly. please check back soon and you'll find more information on this blog and on facebook.
