it is with much joy and deep gratitude that i will welcome one of
the mohan family, my yoga teachers from india, in prague again.
most of you have noticed that i mention the name and, most importantly, the teachings of my dear and revered teachers in - and, actually, also ouside of - my classes a lot. i've been lucky to study with and assist the mohans
since 2007 and it's been
a truly transformative experience. my understanding, practice and teaching of yoga have been greatly influenced by these inspiring teachers. the mohans present the authentic teachings of classical yoga and ayurveda with much experience, insight and respect.
mohanji, an expert in yoga therapy and a teacher with great wealth of knowledge, was a direct student of the legendary yoga master
sri tirumalai krishnamacharya. his beautiful and serene wife
indra is an accomplished yoga therapist and a true yogini with much love and light to share. she means everything to me and is my maha teacher. she's the essence and message of yoga embodied.
some of you have had the chance to meet and study with the mohans already (you can
check pictures from their last 2008 workshops in prague and maybe find yourself ;).
this time, "only" (sounds so wrong!)
ganesh mohan and one of the svastha yoga students and my dear friend
guenter niessen are coming to deliver the first module of a
SVASTHA YOGA THERAPY TRAINING.
between
2nd and 7th of september 2011 the
AKASHA YOGA STUDIO will host
module 1 of the
yoga therapy training programme: low back, pelvis & lower limb (musculoskeletal system, part 1). designed primarily for yoga teachers and advanced practitioners, the program can also be of great assistance to therapists, bodyworkers, physicians etc. all details can be found in
the flyer.
GANESH is a yogi of keen intellect and he's also a skilled ayurvedic practitioner trained in both ayurvedic and conventional medicine. he's a very engaging teacher with deep knowledge, great understanding & endearing directness :)

GUENTER is a specialist in orthopedic and trauma surgery but definitely prefers healing through yoga asanas, breathing practices and meditation rather than using his ubersharp knife ;) he's devised his own holistic approach to healing and employs a multidisciplinary approach in his therapy. plus he's fun to be with :)

i look forward to seeing you at the training. or meeting you some other time, other place :-)
wishing you all days filled with great joy, deep peace, true love and selfless gratitude. may your path lead you from darkness to light, from limited reality to sweet eternity, from suffering to deep bliss. and from your computers to AKASHA between 2nd and 7th september ;)
